I disagree strongly with these
organisations about the
enforced 2.7kc
bandwidth limit. Seems it has been in effect here in Region 2
since 2006 I was told by SSA. No one ever asked me about my
opinion as member. The IARU bandplans are here: Region1, Region2. Members
of the
Swedish SSA is forced by paragraph §4:1 to follow the IARU
recommendations
wich I
refuse, so have now cancelled my membership (20071018). As a
Swedish ham, the only laws and regulations I operate by is our PTS
(FCC),
wich has no bandwidth limitations on SSB nor AM. QSL is direct
only or via my voodoo QSL manager SA0ANX. I cannot use
the QSL burea runned by SSA being a non-member, even if I am willing to
pay
for it.
This once again shows how these amateur organisations is
causing trouble and nothing else. Instead taking action
against the real problem with contesters polluting the bands, they
track down on a few experimenting hams with
ESSB and good sounding audio as interest. FCC understood this and
refused
ARRL's proposed limits
because of the experimental nature of our hobby. Read Mike WZ5Q's
comments here and
John NU9N's here.
From now on I am
the Lone
Ranger and dont care about this stupidity anymore...
